London desert-rockers The Howlers arrive in Stratford on the back of a sold-out UK tour, a debut European run, and a Top 15 Official Chart album recorded wholly independently. Praised by Rolling Stone, Classic Rock and The Line of Best Fit, this is a band doing it entirely on their own terms and doing it loud. Catch them before the rooms get bigger.

In support, Alexandra Leaving brings the grit and fury of 90s rock through a sharply modern lens. West Midlands-born and London-based, Alex has clocked BBC 6 Music, Radio X and BBC Radio 1 airplay off the back of a debut EP produced by Wolf Alice’s Michael Smith. Raw, direct and genuinely exciting.

Stratford’s own Illusive open the night. The grunge trio put it simply: “Every riff, every drum hit, every vocal line has to carry its weight.” Their debut LP Take a Seat arrives just weeks before this show.

Stratford Sound Pathways (SSP) is a year-long programme of original, grassroots live music to Stratford-upon-Avon. Supported by Arts Council England and curated in partnership with Chalkpit Cassette Club, SSP is about building genuine routes into contemporary music for artists and audiences alike.
