Stratford Youth Theatre presents The Snow Queen

When Gerda’s brother is taken by the mysterious Snow Queen, she embarks on a perilous journey across an increasingly frozen world to find him. Along the way, she faces danger, discovers a courage she never knew she possessed, and encounters a host of unforgettable characters, including Soren White Bear, the greatest polar bear that ever lived, and Anne Bonny, whose pirate ship has become trapped in the ice.

Through every challenge, Gerda never loses hope and never gives up on finding her brother.  Helped by her new friends Crow and Reindeer, she keeps travelling onwards in an adventure that proves even the coldest winter cannot freeze a brave little heart.

“She flies through the air where the snow swarms the thickest. She is the largest of the snowflakes, though you never see her. And she never remains on the Earth, but flies up again into the black cloud. She is searching, always searching…”

Bring your whole family along this October half term for a magical story of courage, friendship and hope.
