Stratford Sound Pathways presents MR TEA AND THE MINIONS
Mr Tea and the Minions have spent years turning festival fields into dance floors. Glastonbury, Boomtown, WOMAD, Beautiful Days: over 100 festival appearances built on a simple proposition – get everyone moving and keep them there.
On 13 June they bring that energy indoors. Drawing on Balkan beats, ska, folk, dub and just about everything in between, the Bristol outfit are led by Elle’s powerhouse vocals and Lucy’s vibrant fiddle, weaving genres together with wild, theatrical abandon.
This is a band who treat every audience as co-conspirators. The Independent called it “a bouncing set, it’s impossible not to get involved.” They weren’t wrong.
Summer festival vibes. Rother Street Arts House. No muddy fields required.
