Ticketing Terms & Conditions

Tickets are sold by Rother Street Arts House, StratforduponAvon.
By purchasing a ticket online or in person, customers agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Box Office Sales

Tickets may be purchased online or in person during Box Office opening hours.

Etickets will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. These should be shown on a mobile device or printed for entry.

Printed and posted tickets are not currently available.

For security and customer service purposes, you will be asked to provide your name, address, postcode, email address and telephone number when booking.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express.

We are unable to accept payment by cheque.

Car Parking

Rother Street Arts House does not operate its own car park. Nearby public and commercial parking is available in StratforduponAvon; standard parking charges apply.
Any parking penalties issued by external operators cannot be cancelled or amended by the venue.

Ticket Exchanges and Refunds

Tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. Please check all details carefully before completing your booking, as errors cannot always be corrected afterwards.

Booking Fee

A nonrefundable booking fee is applied to all tickets, whether purchased online or in person. This fee is charged per ticket and applies regardless of discounts.

Group Bookings

For selected events, group discounts may apply (for example, one reducedprice ticket for every ten purchased).
Where available, group discounts will be shown at the point of booking.

Concessions

Some performances offer concessionary rates. Eligibility details will be displayed online when selecting your tickets.

For assistance with concession bookings, please contact the Box Office.

Schools

For certain events, discounted tickets may be available for school or college groups led by teachers.
School group bookings must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the performance.

Please contact the Box Office to enquire or book.

Babies and Children

Babesinarms (under 2 years old) are welcome at designated family performances.
Children aged 2–11 require their own ticket, charged at the standard rate unless a specific children’s concession is available.

Access

We aim to make our venue welcoming and accessible for all. If you have access requirements, please get in touch at the time of booking so we can support your visit.

Wheelchairaccessible seating is available for selected events and can be booked online. Each booking includes space for one wheelchair user and one companion seat.

The venue also offers carer’s tickets which may be booked alongside the person with the care requirement’s booking. Please get in touch to book and ensure two tickets are booked. Proof of care needs will be required to be seen by the venue upon first booking and again at regular intervals (usually annually). Proof is required to showcase the person’s name and photograph (or something which can be cross-reference with a photographic ID) and be something which is only issued to those with care requirements. An example of proof might be a blue badge, an Access Card or a combination of PIP notification and a passport shown together.

For further information, please see our Accessibility guidance.

Latecomers Policy

Latecomers may not be admitted once a performance has started. To minimise disruption, entry may be delayed until an appropriate break in the performance—this may not be until the interval.

Admittance for latecomers is at the discretion of the visiting company and the venue.

Cancelled Performances

If a performance is cancelled, we will make every effort to contact ticket holders in advance via email. Updates will also be shared on our website and social media channels.

Where possible, tickets will be transferred to an alternative performance. If this is not possible, a refund of the ticket value and booking fee will be issued.

Rother Street Arts House cannot accept responsibility for additional costs such as travel or accommodation.

Additional Notes

  • Every attendee must present a valid ticket on arrival.
  • ID may be required for concession or student tickets.
  • For safety reasons, bags may not be permitted inside the auditorium.
  • Photography and video recording are not allowed during performances.
