Elton Songs: Beyond The Yellow Brick Road

Elton’s Song were formed in 2024. Founded by Pianist Henry Salmon. After touring with Meatloud – Meatloaf tribute for ten years, Henry decided to launch a celebration to one of his most influential artists-Sir Elton John. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of Elton and Bernie’s best albums. Included in its titles are, Candle in the Wind, Bennie and the Jets and Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting. But among the treasures of the album are other beautifully crafted songs. Full of Bernie Taupin’s heartfelt poetry and the unmistakable music and piano of Elton. The album is considered one of the best albums conceived and recorded. Here, you are invited to relive and enjoy the best songs from the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album, alongside several of Elton’s greatest hits. This evening is guaranteed to take you away, back to the 70’s. Performed by a six-piece band, there are plenty of opportunities for a dance and sing along to anyone who shares a love of the music of Elton John.

Goodbye yellow brick road is seen by many as one of the all-time classic albums. It was recorded in 1973 at the height of Elton and Bernie’s success. Recorded in the Honky Chateu in Southern France, the album blends rock n roll, blues, country, pop, classical, as well as rock, each one showing off the diverse talents of the partnership. Included on the album and recreated in this tribute are the unforgettable hits like Bennie and the Jets, Candle in the wind, Saturday nights alright for fighting, along with the lesswell known, but equally powerful songs, such as, Grey Seal, This Song Has No Title, I’ve Seen That Movie Too and Sweet Painted Lady, among many others. The tribute is performed by a live band of talented musicians performing all these songs and more of Elton John’s greatest hits.
